How to opt out

You can leave Clean Energy Columbus at any time. There are no cancellation fees, no penalties, and no minimum commitment. To opt out:

Once processed, you'll be returned to AEP Ohio's standard generation supply service at the current Price to Compare rate. Your delivery service, account number, and everything else remains the same.

Before you opt out

The current CEC rate (10.01¢/kWh) is lower than AEP Ohio's standard offer (10.97¢/kWh). Staying enrolled saves the average household ~$115/year while keeping your electricity 100% clean. Compare rates →
